Green tea

  • China

Chinese green teas have a long cultural background. Knowledge passed down through generations has produced a wide variety of different teas.

Typical flavors are nutty, bread-like aromas or finer, sweeter notes.

  • Japan

Unlike in China, Japanese teas are usually only steamed. As a result, they retain their intense dark green color and impress with their pronounced algae-like, umami notes.

These masterpieces range from green and tangy to creamy and sweet. A real treat, even on warm summer days.

  • Taiwan (Formosa)

For the palate and the eye, these elaborately hand-produced teas win over tea lovers all over the world. The rich tea culture produces some of the best teas.

Sweet-creamy, mineral and floral notes are typical, some of which are reminiscent of melons.

  • South Korea

Here, the leaves are processed in a similar way to Japan. Due to different climatic conditions and different soil conditions compared to Japan, Korean teas develop different aromas.

Typical aromas are grassy and sweet, combined with nutty and slightly metallic-mineral notes.
